An eight-speed automatic transmission paired with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine makes up the standard powertrain for the new Santa Fe. This setup's 277 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque move the Santa Fe nicely, both in town and out on the highway. Front-wheel drive is the standard for all but the XRT trim level. That said, all-wheel drive is available on all models.
